Net sales/Nichiha Corporation on a consolidated basis

On May 18, 2004, we concluded a basic agreement with Daiken Corporation for the exchange of Daiken's exterior sidings business and Nichiha's Insulation Board (IB) business.

transfer all IB business operations to Daiken. (Production of IB by Nichiha will be terminated.)
2.
acquire Daiken's exterior sidings operations and purchase facilities for manufacturing exterior sidings at the Takahagi plant.
